From Basketball to Muay Thai

Sports have played a significant role in my life. I've been an ardent basketball player, and as I approach my 50s, I've set a personal goal to continue enjoying the game without the burden of pain. Moreover, I've recently embarked on the journey of Muay Thai, pushing my physical boundaries to new heights.

The Early Days in the Gym

My career as a personal trainer began like many others, starting in a gym. I diligently completed my level 2 and 3 personal training certifications, laying the foundation for what was to come.

A Unique Ability to Connect

What set me apart in my profession was my natural ability to connect with a diverse clientele. I could effectively communicate and cater to the unique needs of different demographics, which soon earned me the reputation as the "go-to" guy for functional training equipment at the gym.

A Shift Towards Pain Relief

However, I realised that my clients were still struggling with pain despite their efforts. This realisation led me on a quest to find better solutions. That's when I discovered Functional Patterns and began to witness remarkable changes in the way I trained people for the better.
